The Multicultural Insights Collective: How Words Matter for the Future of Work
In 2021, The Multicultural Insights Collective embarked on a year-long research project with four phases called “Words Matter “to identify best practices for speaking internally and externally about racial justice, diversity, equity, inclusion, and representation.
Our collective, which includes Lisa Wilding-Brown, from InnovateMR, Kerry Edelstein from Research Narrative, Inc., Michaela Mora, IPC, MSMR, UXMC, from Relevant Insights, Damion Taylor from Prometheus Digital Studio, Delphyne Lomax Taylor, from V & L Research and Consulting, and Candace Hokett, from CHH Consulting, is getting ready to launch our next research initiative related to the future of work through a multicultural lens.
We are kicking it off with the webinar “How Words Matter for the Future of Work.” Our team will share original research from the Words Matter project on how we should talk about diversity, equity, and inclusion to drive workplace equity and elevate business outcomes.
We’ll also address how to manage backlash by understanding different personas of skepticism and offering insights for researching and implementing multicultural and DEI initiatives.
